The 2025 Sewer Improvement Project consists of the rehabilitation of approximately 3,583 linear feet of deteriorated six-inch diameter sewer located in the Town of Tiburon and the City of Belvedere under the base bid. The pipe will be rehabilitated via pipe bursting, which will minimize disturbance to residential backyards where the sewer is located in easements.  The notice inviting bids was advertised in October 2024, and bids were opened on November 14, 2024 at 2 pm. Actual construction is planned to begin in Early Spring of 2025, after the wet weather season. The engineer’s cost estimate for the project was $923,677 for the base bid of 3,583 linear ft. of pipe rehabilitation. The low bid was from APB General Engineering for the amount of $628,882

The work areas that are included in this project include sewer lines located near: 

27 Tara Hill Rd, Marinero Cirlce, 15 Acela Drive , 83 Mt Tiburon Rd, 239 Roundhill, 1994 Centro West, 10 tower Point, 2036 Paradise Drive and 420 Ridge Road in the Tiburon Service Area.  Most of the work in Tiburon will be conducted in easements.

3 Britton Ave, 137 Golden Gate, 205 Golden Gate, 202 Beah Road, 138 Madrona, 101 Bella Vista and 11 Toyon on the Belvedere Service Area. The majority of the Belvedere work will be conducted on/underneath the street. 

Information about dates and times of work in the specific areas will be announced to the neighboring properties through door mailers provided by the contractor.
